How to use this index
1. Search for your ancestor below under "Alphabetical Index." The number following the name in the index is the page in the original text where the person is mentioned.
2. Look below where you searched the alphabetical index, it says "Do Your Own Look Up Here". There you will find a link to the original text online if one in available. Click that link. Find the page number in the text and search for your ancestor's name.
3. If a copy of the county history is not available online, click the "Found it! Now What?" link where you will find suggestions on how to locate a copy of the original text. To understand how the index was compiled, please visit the "About Each Index" page.
